UC Davis Dobbins Baseball Stadium tickets & upcoming events

If you're looking for a hidden gem to catch some live baseball action, UC Davis Dobbins Baseball Stadium is a pretty cool spot. It’s where the magic first lit up at night back in 2010, drawing a huge crowd that night, kind of a big deal for the local sports scene. Named after James Dobbins, a legendary coach who led the team from 1985 to 1995 and really helped grow the program, the stadium has a nostalgic vibe mixed with modern upgrades. The field itself is pretty charming, and I still remember that exciting first home run hit by Jason Lee on march 25th, 2000, during a game that fans still talk about. Since adding energy-efficient lighting in 2015, those night games have become a staple, giving fans a chance to enjoy the action under the stars. Parking’s pretty straightforward, just pull into the Dutton Hall lot, which is a short walk away. To get there, you head east on Highway 20, follow the signs, and you’re practically there. Honestly, it’s a great spot to soak in college baseball, whether you're a die-hard fan or just looking for a fun night out.
